Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa to Host Love Island USA Aftersun for Season 8

Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa are heading to Fiji to take on a new hosting role.

The pair has been selected as the hosts of Aftersun for Love Island USA's upcoming eighth season, which will film and premiere this summer. Miller, 30, is known for her work on Summer House, while Pessoa is a content creator.

The announcement came during the NBCUniversal Upfronts presentation on May 11. Love Island USA's social media accounts shared the news, describing the duo as "two hot new bombshells" entering the Villa. Season eight will launch on June 2 on Peacock.

The hosting gig represents a transition for the Aftersun role. Maura Higgins hosted the show during season six, while Sophie Monk took over for season seven as Higgins was filming The Traitors. Higgins did return to host the finale episode of season seven.

Miller's involvement with the dating series means she'll spend much of the summer in Fiji, where production takes place. The timing coincides with significant changes in her television career. Summer House has been renewed for an 11th season on Bravo, but Miller is exiting the show after six seasons. Her departure follows tension between her and co-stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson, who have begun dating.

Miller will join returning host Ariana Madix on the Love Island USA production. The two recently appeared together in a promotional video for Sonic, discussing new frozen refreshers launching later in May.

Away from Love Island USA, Miller and Higgins will compete against each other this fall on the next season of Dancing With the Stars—they were announced as the first two celebrity competitors for the season.

Love Island USA season eight premieres June 2 on Peacock.
