Luke Evans Channels Tom of Finland in Bold Leather Look at Met Gala 2026

Luke Evans made a striking entrance at the 2026 Met Gala on Monday evening, May 4, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, arriving in a custom Paloma Spain ensemble paired with Christian Louboutin shoes and Ray-Ban sunglasses.
The 47-year-old performer, currently portraying Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show's Broadway production, drew inspiration from queer icon Tom of Finland with his bold leather aesthetic for the evening.
This marks Evans' second appearance at the prestigious annual event. He previously graced the red carpet in 2017.
The 2026 Met Gala celebrates the museum's Costume Art exhibition, which examines "the centrality of the dressed body" through depictions and interpretations of the human form within the Met's collection. This year's dress code theme is "Fashion is Art," with co-chairs including Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
The gala continues its tradition as fashion's biggest night, drawing hundreds of A-list celebrities to showcase their most daring and artistic interpretations of the annual theme.
