Madonna Switches to Blonde at Met Gala 2026 After Party, Celebrates with Sabrina Carpenter, Margot Robbie and More

The Material Girl lived up to her reinvention reputation at the 2026 Met Gala after party.
Fresh off her Surrealist-inspired red carpet moment, Madonna, 67, made a dramatic style shift in the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 5. The icon returned to her signature blonde hair and swapped her Met Gala look for a white minidress paired with a fuzzy white coat, pink fishnet stockings, pink-tinted sunglasses, and silver leather platform boots that reached her knees.
The celebration took place at Zero Bond in New York City, where Madonna arrived alongside her boyfriend, Akeem Morris.
Among the notable faces mingling at the gathering was her 20-year-old son David Banda, who recently joined her as a performer on her Celebration Tour. Also in attendance was Sabrina Carpenter, the pop star collaborating with Madonna on the track "Bring Your Love." The two debuted the song live during Carpenter's headlining performance at the 2026 Coachella Music Festival last month. The collaboration marks the first official single from Madonna's forthcoming album Confessions II, set for release on July 3.
The guest list read like a who's who of entertainment. Diplo, who has frequently collaborated with Madonna throughout his career, was spotted at the event. Hailey Bieber, Margot Robbie, Marcello Hernández, and Cara Delevingne—who had attended Madonna's Club Confessions party in Los Angeles—were among those celebrating.
Serena Williams, Orlando Bloom, and Meredith Duxbury also made appearances. Honorary Met Gala co-chairs Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos joined the festivities, as did Kendall Jenner, Stevie Nicks, Adrien Brody, and Georgina Chapman.
The evening also drew Joey King, NFL quarterback Joe Burrow with Olivia Ponton, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Karlie Kloss, Rachel Sennott, Sarah Pidgeon, Chase Sui Wonders, and Casey Affleck to the exclusive venue.
