Maluma Expecting Second Child With Girlfriend Susana Gomez

Maluma is expanding his family. The 32-year-old Colombian musician revealed on Mother's Day (May 10) that Susana Gomez, his girlfriend, is expecting their second child together.
The artist marked the occasion with a touching black and white photograph showing him and his 2-year-old daughter Paris kissing Susana's baby bump. He accompanied the image with a simple blue heart emoji.
Maluma and Susana first became the subject of relationship speculation in 2020 when they were photographed holding hands. The couple publicly confirmed their romance later that same year.
In recent interviews, Maluma has been candid about his mental health journey following fatherhood. Speaking on Owen Thiele's In Your Dreams podcast, he discussed experiencing panic attacks after Paris was born—a first for him. "I never felt panic attacks in my life, so that was a big journey," he explained, noting that he sought help from multiple therapists to find coping strategies.
The entertainer described the intensity of his anxiety, recounting how he initially feared the condition would be permanent. "I was imagining the worst case scenarios," he shared, adding that he worried about how his struggles might affect his daughter's perception of him as she grew older.
Maluma credited his support system—including Susana, his family, and his team—with helping him navigate this difficult period. He emphasized the importance of discipline and self-care in his recovery, revealing that he now meditates every morning, exercises regularly, and prioritizes healthy eating habits.
"Thank god I came out from the f-cking hole," he reflected on overcoming the anxiety. "Now I'm here and I feel brave and I feel good and I feel proud and I feel grateful."
The couple's expanding family marks a new chapter as they prepare to welcome their second child.
