Masters of the Universe Premieres in Hollywood with Star-Studded Red Carpet

The Masters of the Universe film made its grand debut Monday evening at Hollywood's TCL Chinese Theatre, gathering its ensemble cast for an exclusive first look before reaching theaters nationwide.
Leading the charge on the red carpet were Nicholas Galitzine, Camila Mendes, and Idris Elba, who play the film's central characters. Joining them were fellow cast members Alison Brie, Morena Baccarin, Johannes Haukur Johannesson, Sasheer Zamata, and Hafpor Julius Bjornsson, alongside director Travis Knight.
The event also drew a notable guest from the franchise's past: Dolph Lundgren, who originally brought He-Man to the screen in the 1987 adaptation.
Mendes turned heads in a striking Cong Tri dress, while Elba was accompanied by his wife Sabrina on the evening.
The film arrives in cinemas on June 5. It follows Prince Adam (Galitzine) as he returns to his homeland of Eternia after a 15-year absence, only to find it ravaged by the tyrannical Skeletor (Jared Leto). To protect his world and those he loves, Adam must unite with his allies Teela (Mendes) and Duncan, also known as Man-At-Arms (Elba), and fulfill his destiny as He-Man, the universe's most formidable warrior.
