Matt Damon brought an ambitious entrance to his latest appearance on late-night television. The 55-year-old actor was photographed getting into an enormous Trojan horse positioned outside the Jimmy Kimmel Live studio in Hollywood on Thursday, June 18, as part of what appears to be an elaborate promotional stunt.

Damon is in the midst of pushing his new film "The Odyssey," and the oversized wooden structure seemed designed to make a memorable entrance into the studio—a fitting visual gag for a movie based on Homer's ancient epic.

The stunt plays into the well-documented comedic rivalry between Damon and host Kimmel, a friendship-turned-running-joke that has spanned more than two decades. The feud began in 2005 when Kimmel jokingly apologized to Damon for cutting short his segment due to time constraints. "The Odyssey" adapts Homer's foundational text, which was composed in the 8th or 7th century BC. The narrative follows Odysseus, king of Ithaca, through his ten-year voyage home after the fall of Troy. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Zendaya, and Charlize Theron.
