Maya Rudolph Adds Two More Weeks to Her 'Oh, Mary!' Broadway Run

Maya Rudolph is staying on stage longer than planned. The acclaimed performer has extended her time playing Mary Todd Lincoln in the Broadway production of Oh, Mary!, pushing her final performance from June 20 to July 5, 2026.
The two-week extension gives audiences additional opportunities to catch Rudolph in the role, which has become one of the most sought-after tickets in theater.
Oh, Mary! is a one-act dark comedy that explores the life of Mary Todd Lincoln during the weeks preceding Abraham Lincoln's assassination. The play delves into the historical figure's inner world—her yearnings, struggles with alcoholism, and suppressed desires—all filtered through what the show describes as an unconventional perspective on the forgotten aspects of her existence.
The production features an ensemble cast alongside Rudolph. Phillip James Brannon and Tony Macht return in their roles as Mary's Husband and Mary's Husband's Assistant respectively. Cheyenne Jackson appears as Mary's Teacher, while original cast member Bianca Leigh performs as Mary's Chaperone.
The show has become a major Broadway success story. It captured two Tony Awards and has shattered its own box office record on twelve separate occasions. Oh, Mary! made history as the first production of the 2024-25 Broadway season to recoup its investment. The production's momentum continues to build as organizers prepare to launch a North American tour.
