McKenna Grace Debuts Fiery Red Hair at Miami Grand Prix Following Scooby-Doo Casting

The 19-year-old Scream 7 actress made an appearance at the Celebrity Friends For F1 Miami Grand Prix Qualifying Race on Saturday, May 2, an event hosted by Raising Cane's owner Todd Graves at Miami International Autodrome in Miami, Florida.
Grace has fully embraced her new role as Daphne Blake in the forthcoming Netflix series Scooby-Doo: Origins, arriving at the racing event with a striking new red hair transformation. The vibrant shade signals her commitment to bringing the iconic character to life.
The upcoming series reimagines the beloved mystery-solving team as a modern-day adventure. The story follows Shaggy and Daphne during their final summer at camp, where they uncover a chilling mystery involving a lost Great Dane puppy that may have witnessed a supernatural murder. Joined by Velma, a pragmatic and scientifically-minded townie, and Freddy, a charming newcomer, the group becomes drawn into a terrifying case that threatens to unearth each of their deepest secrets.
Production on the series has already begun in Atlanta. The show is expected to premiere sometime in late 2026 or 2027.
Grace has been visibly preparing for the role beyond her new hair color. Last month, she was spotted wearing a deep purple polo shirt paired with a denim skirt and lavender purse—a coordinated look that mirrors the signature color palette associated with Daphne's character throughout the original series.
