Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson End Relationship; Rapper Claims Infidelity

Megan Thee Stallion has ended her relationship with Klay Thompson, the 31-year-old rapper revealed through a series of Instagram Stories posts on Saturday, April 25. In her message, she directly addressed infidelity concerns and questioned the athlete's commitment to monogamy.

"Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house," Megan wrote. She went on to reference his behavior during the basketball season, saying: "Got 'cold feet,' Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don't know if you can be 'monogamous' ????"

Concluding her statement on social media, the rapper added, "b—h I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall."

A representative for Megan provided further context to media outlets, stating: "I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward. I'm taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity."

Thompson, 35, plays for the Dallas Mavericks and is an NBA champion. The two made their relationship official on the red carpet in July 2025, though they had been hinting at their connection through social media appearances and background appearances in each other's posts for weeks prior.

Megan is currently starring in Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway, marking her theatrical debut in New York. The production made headlines in late March when the performer required emergency medical attention during a performance, though her team later issued a statement addressing the incident.
