Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway Celebrate 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' at London Photo Call
The stars of fashion's most iconic film are in full promotional mode. On Friday morning, April 24, Meryl Streep stepped out for photos at the photo call for The Devil Wears Prada 2 at V&A South Kensington in London, posing alongside co-stars Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway.
The 76-year-old Oscar winner was joined by additional cast members Stanley Tucci, Simone Ashley, and Caleb Hearon, as well as director David Frankel for the event, which came days after the European premiere earlier in the week.
The sequel reunites the beloved ensemble nearly two decades after the original 2006 film. The story follows Miranda, Andy, Emily, and Nigel as they return to New York City and the offices of Runway Magazine. Streep reprises her role as the formidable fashion editor Miranda Priestly, with Blunt and Hathaway returning as Emily and Andy, respectively. Tucci rounds out the principal cast as Nigel.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 arrives in theaters on May 1.
For the occasion, Hathaway wore Armani Privé, Blunt dressed in Michael Kors, and Streep selected Armani Privé.
