Sharon Stone's Brother Mike Dies at 74

Sharon Stone is mourning the loss of her eldest brother, Mike Stone.

The 68-year-old actress announced his passing on social media Wednesday (May 13), revealing that Mike had died at 74 after battling an extended illness. "Mike Stone, My oldest brother, Has passed away. Following an extended illness. We wish him peace. Sharon, Roan, Laird & Quinn," she wrote alongside a photo of her brother.

The announcement drew supportive messages from Stone's celebrity peers. Darren Le Gallo wrote, "Sorry for your loss Sharon," while D-Nice offered, "Sending you love. My deepest condolences to your family." Fellow actress Debi Mazar added, "My condolences Sharon," and comedian Judy Gold commented, "May his memory be for a blessing."

Mike Stone also worked as an actor throughout his career. His film credits included roles in Malevolence and Eraser, and he appeared alongside his sister in The Quick And The Dead. More recent work included the 2022 film Destinos Opostos and the 2021 short film Renaissance Man.

This marks another significant loss for Stone in recent years. Her younger brother Patrick died in 2023 from sudden cardiac death caused by heart disease. She also lost her mother last year.
