Mike Vrabel Addresses Family Life as Head Coach Navigates Personal Scrutiny

The 50-year-old head coach of the New England Patriots spoke with reporters about juggling family commitments and his professional duties, a topic that has drawn heightened interest following recent developments in his personal life.
When the conversation turned to his household, Vrabel kept his response measured. "My family is great. I love Jen, I love the boys," he stated.
Vrabel and his wife Jen have maintained their marriage since 1999 and are parents to two sons: Tyler, 25, and Carter, 24.
Shifting focus to the team's operations, Vrabel highlighted the positive momentum building within his coaching staff during the spring period. "This spring is focused on the coaching staff, the players, more importantly than the coaching staff, but you know, just seeing the coaches in the second year, just seeing how smooth the conversations are. 'Hey, we love this play. How do we go out and make it better?' And then these guys they go out and they find ways to make it better," he explained.
The remarks come amid a period of considerable attention surrounding Vrabel and NFL reporter Dianna Russini. Earlier this spring, photographs surfaced showing the two together at an Arizona resort, with images dated to 2026. Both initially denied any romantic relationship.
Additional photographs subsequently emerged from 2020 appearing to show the two in a more intimate moment. Vrabel acknowledged having "difficult conversations" with his family in response to the situation and opted to skip a portion of the NFL draft to pursue counseling.
