Miley Cyrus to Receive Hollywood Walk of Fame Star on May 22

Miley Cyrus is receiving one of the entertainment industry's most iconic honors.

Variety confirmed on Saturday (May 7) that the 33-year-old Grammy-winning artist will be inducted with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will present the star during a ceremony taking place Friday, May 22 at 11:30am PT in Los Angeles.

Cyrus was announced as part of the 2026 Hollywood Walk of Fame class in July 2025. Following the official announcement, she shared her reaction on Instagram, writing: "Honored to be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. When I first came to LA from Nashville as a little girl, my family would stay at a hotel on Hollywood Blvd, and I would go on late night walks with my dad when no one would recognize him. We'd have the gift shops to ourselves & buy knock off Oscars and Marilyn Monroe merchandise."

She continued: "To now be cemented on this legendary boulevard, surrounded by the icons who inspired me, feels like a dream. This moment will live forever, thank you to everyone in my life who made it possible. I am grateful to share this star with you."

Notably, Cyrus previously released a track called "Walk of Fame" featuring Brittany Howard on her album Something Beautiful. The singer later disclosed that she required ICU hospitalization following the filming of that song's music video on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
