Minions & Monsters Hits Theaters: The Voice Cast Behind the Franchise's Latest Adventure

Minions & Monsters has officially arrived in theaters, launching on Wednesday, July 1st just ahead of the July 4th holiday weekend.

The film marks the seventh entry in the broader Despicable Me/Minions universe and the third dedicated Minions movie. According to industry projections, the animated feature is tracking toward a $170 million global haul during its opening weekend.

The storyline follows what the filmmakers describe as "the rambunctious, ridiculous and totally true story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world and then banded together to try and save the planet from the mayhem they had just created."

The movie features a star-studded ensemble of voice talent bringing characters to life on screen. The cast includes Allison Janney, Bobby Moynihan, Christoph Waltz, Jeff Bridges, Jesse Eisenberg, Phil LaMarr, Pierre Coffin, Trey Parker, and Zoey Deutch, among others lending their voices to the new characters populating this latest adventure in the franchise.
