Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow Return for 'Romy & Michele' Sequel Coming to Hulu

Production is underway for a new chapter in the beloved '90s comedy franchise. Nearly three decades after the original film's debut, Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow have returned to their iconic roles, captured on set in Los Angeles during filming on June 17.

The new film will land exclusively on Hulu, bringing the story of the title characters back to audiences worldwide.

Beyond Sorvino and Kudrow, the sequel reunites several original cast members. Alan Cumming is back as Sandy Frank, while Janeane Garofalo, Camryn Manheim, and Julia Campbell reprise their roles as Heather, Toby, and Christie, respectively.

The production has also welcomed new talent to the project. Keegan-Michael Key and Rob Huebel were both spotted working on set, with Breckin Meyer, Patrick Warburton, and Nathan Lee Graham also joining the cast. Details about their specific characters remain under wraps.

One nostalgic touch making a comeback: the Jaguar that played a central role in the original film's reunion storyline is featured in the sequel as well.
