Ving Rhames Hospitalized After Medical Incident at L.A. Restaurant

Mission: Impossible star Ving Rhames experienced a health emergency on Wednesday afternoon that landed him in the hospital.
The 66-year-old actor was dining with family at Granville restaurant in North Hollywood, California when he collapsed at his table. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported him to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
Rhames' team moved quickly to address concerns about the incident. His manager Brad Kramer reached out to confirm that the actor had been cleared by medical staff and was already feeling significantly better. "He sounded like everyday Ving and cracked a joke over the phone," Kramer shared, describing their conversation after Rhames left the hospital.
The Golden Globe winner has built an impressive career spanning decades. He's the only actor other than Tom Cruise to appear in all eight films of the Mission: Impossible franchise, where he plays computer expert Luther Stickell. His filmography includes standout roles in Pulp Fiction, Bringing Out the Dead, Dope Thief, and Uppercut. In 1998, Rhames earned a Golden Globe for his portrayal of boxing promoter Don King in the biographical film Don King: Only in America. He's also recognized for lending his voice to the character Cobra Bubbles in Disney's Lilo & Stitch.
