Monica Barbaro Joins Ocean's Eleven Prequel with Bradley Cooper, Margot Robbie, and Wagner Moura

Monica Barbaro is expanding her roster of high-profile projects following her recent Oscar nomination. The 36-year-old actress has signed on to the forthcoming Ocean's Eleven prequel, joining a powerhouse ensemble that includes Bradley Cooper, Margot Robbie, and Wagner Moura—all Academy Award-nominated performers.
While details about the film's storyline remain under wraps, production is slated to commence in the coming months, with a theatrical release targeted for June 25, 2027. Beyond her acting role, Cooper is helming the project as director and co-producing with Robbie, while also penning the screenplay.
Barbaro earned her Oscar nomination for her portrayal of folk singer Joan Baez in A Complete Unknown, which also starred Timothée Chalamet. Her recent filmography includes Top Gun: Maverick, At Midnight, and Crime 101, plus a starring role in the Netflix series FUBAR.
The actress has additional projects on the horizon: the romantic comedy One Night Only arrives in theaters this summer, while Artificial—which Neon acquired—is scheduled for a year-end theatrical run. Off-screen, Barbaro is dating her Artificial co-star Andrew Garfield.
