Mortal Kombat 2 Cast Brings Star Power to London European Premiere

The ensemble cast of the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 2 assembled at London's BFI IMAX Waterloo on Thursday for the European premiere celebration, marking a major milestone ahead of the film's theatrical release.

Martyn Ford, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Lewis Tan, and Mehcad Brooks all posed for photographers at the fan event on April 30. The gathering came just days after a separate premiere took place in Los Angeles, where Lewis was unable to attend. His appearance in London proved particularly notable, as he made his red carpet debut alongside his new girlfriend.

The sequel brings back beloved fighters from the original film while introducing Karl Urban as Johnny Cage. The story places these champions in direct conflict as they battle to thwart Shao Kahn's dark dominion and protect Earthrealm from annihilation.

Mortal Kombat 2 opens May 8. Early social media reactions from critics have leaned positive, with many noting the film surpasses the 2021 original.
