NBC Reveals Fall 2026-2027 Schedule, Debuts Civilian Version of 'The Traitors'

NBC has released its primetime schedule for the 2026-2027 fall season, bringing several notable adjustments to its roster of programming.

Among the changes is the addition of a civilian version of The Traitors, which will occupy the Thursday 8 p.m. slot. The reality competition format has previously aired annually on Peacock in a celebrity iteration, but this new iteration will feature everyday contestants rather than famous personalities.

Two of NBC's four new fall offerings are getting prime placement: Line of Fire and Newlyweds will debut during the season, while The Rockford Files and Sunset P.I. have been scheduled for midseason rollouts in 2027.

The network is also making time-slot adjustments to its legal drama portfolio. Law & Order is moving to the 10 p.m. Thursday hour, a slot previously held by The Hunting Party. The renewal status of The Hunting Party remains unclear at this time.

The complete fall schedule features The Voice anchoring Monday evenings, with Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. forming the Wednesday night lineup. Friday nights will include Happy's Place, the new series Newlyweds, and Dateline NBC. Weekend programming continues with Big Ten and Notre Dame football on Saturdays, plus Sunday Night Football.

The schedule begins in September, with some programming adjusting in November.
