NBC Announces Major Programming Changes for 2026-2027 Season

NBC has finalized a slate of programming decisions affecting its television portfolio for the coming season.

The network unveiled its fall schedule on May 11, detailing which shows will return and which are being shelved. The announcements cover NBC's primetime offerings alongside content distributed through NBCUniversal, spanning syndicated talk shows and daytime series that air across different local stations.

The decisions represent a significant reshuffling of the network's content strategy as it heads into the 2026-2027 broadcast season. Several established series have secured renewals, while other programs have been discontinued. At least one show's status remains in flux as final determinations are pending.

More details about specific renewals and cancellations continue to emerge as the network completes its programming evaluation process.
