NBC Orders Second Season of 'The Fall & Rise of Reggie Dinkins'

NBC is moving forward with a second season of the sitcom "The Fall & Rise of Reggie Dinkins," which features Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe in leading roles.

The pickup announcement precedes NBCUniversal's upfront event, where the network will unveil its programming schedule for the 2026-27 season, according to reporting from The Hollywood Reporter.

In the comedy, Morgan plays a retired football player who brings on documentary filmmaker Arthur Tobin—played by Radcliffe—to create a film centered on his life. The project aims to help rehabilitate his public standing and facilitate his return to prominence. The first season of the show drew guest appearances from Megan Thee Stallion, Anna Camp, Heidi Gardner, and other notable names.

The ensemble cast also includes Erika Alexander, Precious Way, Jalyn Hall, and Bobby Moynihan.

The renewal comes as NBC wraps up its programming decisions for the season. The network recently canceled the freshman comedy "Stumble" and the medical drama "Brilliant Minds," which starred Zachary Quinto and was in its second season. "Law & Order: Organized Crime" was also axed.

With these cancellations and the "Reggie Dinkins" renewal in place, NBC still needs to finalize its decisions on the bubble series "The Hunting Party" and the long-running "Law & Order." The network is also expected to announce which new pilots it will order to series after screening options last week.
