Netflix is giving fans their first glimpse at the upcoming romantic comedy Voicemails for Isabelle, featuring Zoey Deutch and Nick Robinson in leading roles.

The film marks the first time the two actors have worked together on a project, though both have established track records with the streamer. The story follows Jill, played by Deutch, who processes her sister's passing by recording voicemails that document her turbulent existence in San Francisco. When the phone number gets reassigned without anyone realizing it, a guarded real estate agent based in Austin, portrayed by Robinson, finds himself receiving her candid and comedic confessions.

The ensemble cast includes Harry Shum Jr., Lukas Gage, Ciara Bravo, Nick Offerman, Megan Danso, Gil Bellows, Toby Sandeman, and Spencer Lord.

Leah McKendrick both wrote and directed the film, which wrapped production in Vancouver during summer 2025.

Deutch has been a regular presence on Netflix, with previous appearances in Set It Up and Nouvelle Vague, plus the series The Politician. Her filmography on the platform also includes The Outfit and The Threesome.

Robinson has similarly built a Netflix presence through the series Maid and The Abandons, as well as the film Damsel.

The movie debuts globally on Netflix on June 19.
