Netflix Unveils Season 2 Trailer for 'Pop Culture Jeopardy!' with Colin Jost Returning as Host
'Pop Culture Jeopardy!' is making its way back to screens, and Netflix has just unveiled what's in store for season 2.
The game show spinoff is switching homes from Amazon to Netflix, launching on May 11. Fresh episodes will roll out every weekday for four weeks, concluding on June 5.
Colin Jost is back in the host's chair for the new season. The show puts a contemporary twist on the traditional Jeopardy! format, blending the intellectual challenge of the classic quiz show with trivia spanning the entertainment landscape. Teams of contestants face off in tournament-style competition, answering questions across various pop culture categories to vie for the grand prize and ultimate bragging rights.
The newly released trailer offers a preview of what's ahead this season, showcasing category topics ranging from Real Housewives to references tied to internet memes, AI-generated content, and beyond. Episodes clock in at 20-25 minutes each.
The unscripted competition isn't the only Jeopardy! spinoff in development. Disney+ and Hulu are working on 'ESPN Jeopardy!', a sports-focused version designed to appeal to die-hard sports fans. The show will be hosted by Monday Night Football's Joe Buck, though an official premiere date hasn't been announced yet.
