Netflix Drops Trailer for 'Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine' Money Heist Spinoff Series

Netflix is gearing up for the arrival of its latest Money Heist expansion with the premiere of Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine, a new spinoff series launching globally on May 15, 2026.
The streamer has unveiled the official trailer and promotional imagery for the eight-episode installment, which reunites creators Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato. According to Netflix's official description, the story finds Berlin and his crew executing an elaborate scheme that starts with a commission from the Duke of Málaga: stealing Leonardo Da Vinci's renowned painting, Lady with an Ermine, with Seville serving as the setting for what they describe as history's greatest heist.
However, the real scheme runs much deeper. The gang's actual objective centers on the Duke of Málaga and his wife, a pair who believe they can use blackmail against Berlin. What unfolds awakens what Netflix describes as "Berlin's darkest side — and his thirst for revenge."
Returning to the franchise are Pedro Alonso, Michelle Jenner, Tristán Ulloa, Begoña Vargas, Julio Peña Fernández, and Joel Sánchez, all reprising their established roles. Joining them are newcomers Inma Cuesta, Marta Nieto, and José Luis García-Pérez.
The spinoff continues the Money Heist and Berlin storylines that have captivated audiences throughout the original series' run.
