Geno Smith Under Investigation Following Assault Allegations

Geno Smith, quarterback for the New York Jets, is the subject of an ongoing investigation following assault allegations that surfaced over the weekend.

A woman identified as Kristen took to social media on Sunday, June 21, to publicly detail her claims. In her post, she wrote: "Today is the DAY! GENO SMITH beat my ass cause he HATES taking care of his special needs kid and can't be left alone with him because he'd rather watch s*x online and play Call of Duty."

Kristen accompanied her statement with multiple video clips documenting the incident. In one recording, Smith can be heard on the phone telling an unidentified person, "She just called the police." Kristen responds in the footage, stating: "Geno just beat my a–, that's why. You ran outside and attacked me, b—h."

The videos show an escalating confrontation, with Kristen running down the driveway while calling for help. Throughout the clips, she levels additional accusations, claiming Smith broke her computer, took money from her, and threw her purses outside. Another video segment appears to capture a physical altercation taking place inside a vehicle. A final clip shows Smith speaking with police officers at the scene.

Following the allegations, the mother of Smith's son, Seven, posted on social media. She shared a photo of Smith with their child and wrote that he "is and always has been more than capable of taking care of his son." She added: "Let's kill that narrative. Don't get on the internet bringing my son into your web of dysfunction."
