Nicholas Hoult Debuts Shaved Head in NYC Ahead of Met Gala Appearance

Nicholas Hoult is sporting a fresh new look. The actor stepped out Saturday night at The Polo bar in Manhattan, revealing his newly shaved head in a public setting for the first time.

The 36-year-old's dramatic change comes as he films the upcoming Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow, in which he reprises his role as Lex Luthor. The villain will join forces with the superhero in the film, set for theatrical release on July 8, 2027, which will also introduce the character Brainiac.

With Hoult currently in New York City, insiders suggest he may be attending the Met Gala on Monday, May 4. Should he make an appearance, it would mark only his second time at the star-studded event—his first attendance was back in 2013.

The Man of Tomorrow cast continues to expand. Adria Arjona recently joined the project, reportedly in talks to portray the alien queen Maxima. According to reports, she secured the part following multiple rounds of screen testing, with other contenders including Eva De Dominici, Sydney Chandler, and Grace Van Patten.
