Nick Jonas has been revisiting Disney's catalog alongside his 4-year-old daughter Malti Marie, and the experience has given him fresh perspective on the studio's most beloved films.

The 33-year-old performer and actor, who got his start on the Disney Channel, will be honored as a Disney Legend this year alongside his brothers. At a recent In Conversation event promoting his upcoming film Power Ballad, Jonas opened up about which movies hit him hardest emotionally.

When host Josh Horowitz asked whether any particular songs or films moved him, Jonas pointed to two specific scenes in Power Ballad that resonate with him as a father. "I think there's a real thing that you'll see," he explained. "I want you to think about this powerful stuff, family, that aspect."

Beyond his new project, Jonas revealed that The Lion King stands out as the Disney classic that consistently makes him emotional. "You know, things that I'm getting to watch with my daughter these days and kind of read some of those experiences, the stories that shaped who I became, and now I'm sharing that with her. It's a totally special thing to experience," he shared.

The star added that he frequently finds himself tearing up during movies while flying.

Power Ballad, which co-stars Paul Rudd, arrives in select theaters on May 29th before expanding to wider release on June 5th. In other projects, Jonas recently completed work on a holiday horror film alongside Kathryn Newton, Ashley Park, Justice Smith, KJ Apa, and Madeleine Arthur.
