90 Day Fiancé cast member Nikki Exotika is in recovery following major cardiac surgery. The 50-year-old television personality underwent emergency triple bypass surgery at Hackensack Medical Center after doctors discovered severely blocked and calcified arteries.

Her mother, Myrna—known as Mama Myrna from the show—announced the procedure via social media and launched a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe to help cover living expenses and recovery costs while Nikki is unable to work.

According to the GoFundMe details, Nikki had been experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath, and fatigue for an extended period. She visited several doctors and saw a cardiologist in November, completing comprehensive testing including an EKG, echocardiogram, and stress test. At that time, she received clearance and was told her heart was in good condition.

The situation escalated when Nikki nearly collapsed during a performance while preparing for a summer tour. Days later, while heading to another cardiology appointment, she suffered a mild heart attack and was transported to the emergency room. Hospital bloodwork showed significantly elevated troponin levels, prompting immediate admission.

Doctors performed an angiogram that revealed extensive arterial blockages. The damage was too severe for angioplasty or stent placement, making bypass surgery necessary. The procedure involves rerouting blood flow around the obstructed arteries using healthy blood vessels.

Nikki appeared on Season 10 of the TLC series, traveling to Moldova in 2023 to meet with her boyfriend, Justin Shutencov. During her time on the show, she spoke openly about her experience as a transgender woman. The relationship ultimately ended when Shutencov broke up with her via text.

Beyond her television work, Nikki is an entertainer and performer associated with the House of Xtravaganza, a prominent fixture in New York City's ballroom scene.

Myrna noted that Nikki's health insurance covers the surgical expenses, so the fundraiser focuses on rent, monthly bills, and other living costs during her recovery period. Nikki has granted power of attorney to her mother to assist with managing her affairs while she heals.
