Noah Beck and Eric Roberts Film Dramatic Rescue for Baywatch Reboot
The upcoming Fox Baywatch reboot is bringing the action to the screen, with 24-year-old Noah Beck performing a dramatic water rescue involving veteran actor Eric Roberts, 70, during Thursday's shoot in Los Angeles.
The scene captured Beck swimming Roberts, who clung to a lifeguard can, through the ocean to safety. Once the cameras stopped rolling, both actors made their way to a nearby dock to dry off.
That same day, Beck appeared shirtless while filming additional sequences aboard a vessel alongside co-stars Stephen Amell and Jessica Belkin.
The series reimagines the beloved classic for a new generation. According to the show's premise, Amell plays Hobie Buchannon, the spirited character from the original series who now commands Baywatch as captain, following his father Mitch's legendary tenure. His world shifts when Charlie, a daughter he never knew existed, arrives wanting to join the lifeguard ranks and honor the Buchannon name.
The reboot also features Cody Madison, the franchise's iconic heartthrob, now operating The Shoreline, an informal Baywatch gathering spot and restaurant. Madison balances running the establishment with occasional lifeguard duty, serving as both mentor and friend to the team while becoming famous for complimentary wings following successful rescues.
Slated for the 2026-2027 television season on FOX, the series received a 12-episode order in September 2025.
