Cast of 'Nobody Wants This' Gathers for FYSEE Showcase as Season 3 Anticipation Builds

Kristen Bell and Adam Brody reunited with their castmates for a special Television Academy event celebrating Netflix's romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This.
The pair appeared alongside series regulars Timothy Simmons and Jackie Tohn, along with Andrew Rannells, who joins the cast for season three, at a screening and discussion held Friday, May 22, at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles. Show creator and executive producer Erin Foster participated in the event, as did costume designer Negar Ali Kline and other members of the production team. Series star Justine Lupe was not present at the gathering.
The second season, which debuted in October 2025 and qualifies for consideration at the 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards, deepens the romantic storyline between Joanne (Bell) and Rabbi Noah (Brody) as they transition from new romance to established partnership.
"You're past that first excitement of being together and then you have to start creating a life together," Foster explained. "What does that look like? Do our friends get along? How do we do in an argument?"
The latest season explores how the central couple manages their evolving dynamic while contending with external pressures and relationship complexities. Bell reflected on this shift in the show's narrative trajectory, noting that "once the honeymoon period has dissipated, there's still an attraction, but you're not filled with the level of dopamine you initially were. So you start to pick the other person apart and look for … why they're going to break your heart or begin to see the things they're doing wrong."
The series has already secured a third season renewal, with new episodes expected to arrive later this year.
