North West Celebrates EP Release With Kanye West and Bianca Censori

North West stepped out with her signature blue hair on Friday, May 1, as she hosted a pop-up event for her new music at Complex LA in Los Angeles.

The 12-year-old artist used the occasion to celebrate the same-day release of her debut EP, "N0rth4ever." The project comprises six tracks with a total runtime just over 11 minutes.

Rolling Stone praised the release, noting that across the EP's six songs, West "begins to turn that impossible inheritance into material, shaping the noise around her into something undeniably her own." The publication added that while "N0rth4ever is brief, it leaves a surprisingly lasting impression: the sound of a young artist not merely entering the family business, but beginning to define the terms of her own mythology."

Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori made an appearance at the pop-up to show their support for North's musical venture.

The EP arrives following North's previous collaborations with her father on multiple tracks, as well as a collaboration with FKA twigs. Her debut single, "Piercing On My Hand," preceded the project's arrival.

In April, North joined Kanye on stage during his SoFi concert, where they performed both "Talking" and "Piercing On My Hand" together.
