King Charles and Queen Camilla Pay Respects at 9/11 Memorial During New York Visit

The British royal couple made a solemn visit to one of New York City's most iconic landmarks during their ongoing tour of the United States.

On Wednesday, April 29, King Charles and Queen Camilla traveled to lower Manhattan to visit the National September 11 Memorial, the site where the Twin Towers once stood. The pair paid their respects at the memorial, leaving flowers and a note in honor of those who perished in the attacks.

During their time in the city, the royals also met with several prominent New York officials. The engagements included meetings with Mayor Zohran Mamdani, former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Governor Kathy Hochul, offering a chance for the visiting dignitaries to connect with local leadership.
