Amazon's Star-Studded Upfront Showcase Features Off-Campus Cast, Michael B. Jordan, and Major Project Announcements

Amazon's Upfront event brought together Hollywood's biggest names at the Beacon Theatre in New York on Monday, May 11, for a high-profile showcase of upcoming projects and programming.
The presentation opened with a DJ set from Diplo and featured a musical performance by Kacey Musgraves. The platform leveraged celebrity appearances across multiple sectors of its entertainment portfolio, with Ice Spice appearing to promote Twitch and Oprah Winfrey in attendance to discuss her newly announced podcast partnership with Wondery.
The event also highlighted Amazon's sports ambitions, with Shaboozey on hand to promote Amazon Sports. The company brought in Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and Thursday Night Football hosts Charissa Thompson, Andrew Whitworth, and Ryan Fitzpatrick to underscore its commitment to sports programming.
The cast of Off-Campus generated considerable buzz throughout the day. The romantic drama, based on Elle Kennedy's book series, debuts May 13 and features Ella Bright, Belmont Cameli, Josh Heuston, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Antonio Cipriano, Mika Abdalla, and Stephen Kalyn, alongside creator and co-showrunner Louisa Levy. The ensemble visited the Empire State Building as part of promotional activities, and Amazon announced it has already greenlit a second season before the series premiere.
Chris Pratt returned to the Upfront to promote The Terminal List, which will return this fall after a four-year hiatus. Michael B. Jordan took the stage for multiple projects: the Muhammad Ali drama series The Greatest, featuring Jaalen Best, and Creed spinoff series Delphi. Jordan also serves as executive producer on Amazon's Fourth Wing adaptation based on Rebecca Yarros' bestselling novel—a project officially greenlit for series during the event.
Meghann Fahy and Penn Badgley appeared to promote their upcoming film You Deserve Each Other. Arnold Schwarzenegger closed the presentation by promoting The Man With the Bag, a film co-starring Alan Ritchson from the Reacher franchise.
The event also brought news of a renewal for one of Amazon's flagship series and announced the return date for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
