Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright Chat About Music and Singing on 'Fallon'

Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright sat down together on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss their breakout roles in the Prime Video series Off Campus. The co-stars taped their appearance on Thursday, May 21, during a press tour in New York City, with the segment airing Friday night.

The show has quickly become a cultural phenomenon, positioning both actors as rising stars in Hollywood. During their interview, the conversation turned to the musical elements woven throughout Off Campus and whether Cameli would take on a singing role in future seasons.

"There is a kind of High School Musical thing happening [in the show]," Cameli explained to Fallon. Bright chimed in enthusiastically, saying, "I think we gotta get him to sing at some point. I think that will have to happen."

Cameli responded with mock resignation: "Oh no, please. I know they're going to make me sing at some point." When Fallon asked about his vocal abilities, Cameli confirmed he does have musical training. "I can sing, yeah. They're going to make me do it. They made me dance already, so I'm halfway there," he said.

Off Campus centers on an elite ice hockey team and the women connected to them as they navigate love, heartbreak, and personal growth. The first season follows the "opposites attract" dynamic between Hannah, a quiet songwriter, and Garrett, Briar University's standout hockey star, as they forge meaningful connections and face the realities of early adulthood.
