Olivia Rodrigo Hosts and Performs on SNL, Debuts New Track "Begged"

Olivia Rodrigo took on double duty at Saturday Night Live this weekend, stepping into the hosting role for the first time while also serving as musical guest.
The 23-year-old performer's evening kicked off with an introduction from Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry, leading into her first musical set. Rodrigo performed "drop dead," the latest single from her forthcoming album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. The performance marked her second live rendition of the track and its first television airing.
Later in the broadcast, Connor Storrie made a surprise appearance to introduce Rodrigo's second performance of the night. The moment held particular significance as Rodrigo unveiled the previously unheard song "begged" for the first time on television. Storrie, who hosted the sketch show back in February, is currently in New York and is expected to attend the 2026 Met Gala on Monday, May 4. His Heated Rivalry co-star Hudson Williams has also been spotted in the city recently.
During her hosting monologue, Rodrigo delivered jokes about her album's title, reflected on her time working with Jake Paul on the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark, and performed a comedic rendition of "drivers license" with lyrics centered around obtaining her Real ID.
Storrie wore a complete look from the Victoria Beckham x Gap collaboration for the evening.
