Paris Jackson Distances Herself From 'Michael' Film, Denies Involvement and Disputes Accuracy

As the Antoine Fuqua-directed biopic "Michael" faces mounting criticism and poor reviews, Paris Jackson's earlier public statements about the project are gaining fresh attention.

The 28-year-old model and actress—daughter of the King of Pop—had previously pushed back against claims of her participation in the film, contradicting earlier assertions made by cast members about her support.

During promotional interviews for the movie, actor Colman Domingo, who portrays Joe Jackson in the production, had suggested that Paris and her brother Prince were backing the project. "They're very much in support of our film," Domingo told People magazine, describing Paris as "very helpful" to him and the movie itself.

Jackson's subsequent statements, however, painted a different picture. She clarified that she had not been involved in the production and took issue with specific details presented in the film, signaling disagreement with how certain elements were being portrayed.
