Patrick Muldoon's Cause of Death Confirmed as Myocardial Infarction

Patrick Muldoon's death certificate has now revealed the official medical details surrounding the actor's passing earlier this month.
The Melrose Place and Days of Our Lives star died on April 19 at the age of 57. While an initial report indicated he had suffered a heart attack, the death certificate confirmed on Wednesday, April 29, that the cause was myocardial infarction—the medical term for a heart attack.
According to the documentation, pulmonary embolism and hereditary coagulopathy were listed as underlying contributing factors. Hereditary coagulopathy is a genetic condition affecting the body's ability to properly form blood clots, while a pulmonary embolism occurs when a blood clot obstructs blood flow to an artery in the lung.
The death certificate also indicates that Muldoon's remains were cremated on Tuesday, April 28.
Beyond his well-known television roles, Muldoon's career spanned numerous projects. His credits included appearances on Saved by the Bell and Who's the Boss?, along with film work in Super Troopers and Saving Christmas, plus various television movies. He was scheduled to appear in the upcoming film Dirty Hands later this year.
Following his death, his sister shared details about the circumstances surrounding that morning. The actor's family and loved ones continue to have the support of those in the entertainment community.
