Paul Bettany's 'VisionQuest' Lands October Premiere Date as Marvel Stars Take Over Disney Upfronts

Marvel's heavy hitters descended on the Jacob Javits Center in New York City on Tuesday, May 12 for the 2026 Disney Upfronts, where Paul Bettany, Robert Downey Jr, and Tom Hiddleston took center stage to spotlight their forthcoming studio ventures.
During the Marvel Studios presentation, Bettany discussed his highly anticipated series VisionQuest, where he returns to the role of Vision. Meanwhile, Downey Jr and Hiddleston championed the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, in which they portray Doctor Doom and Loki respectively.
The Upfronts event brought significant news for VisionQuest fans: the series will launch on Disney+ on October 14th. The announcement marks the first substantial update on the project since New York Comic Con last October.
Attendees at the presentation were treated to exclusive footage from the series, which showcased Vision in his human form alongside appearances from Ultron and an adult version of Tommy. The footage offered viewers their first substantial look at what's to come.
VisionQuest will serve as the concluding installment of a trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued through Agatha All Along, bringing the interconnected storylines to their conclusion.
