Peacock Axes Two Shows While Greenlighting Multiple Series

Peacock has delivered a mixed bag of programming news this month, issuing both cancellations and renewals across its slate of original television series.

The streamer has proven relatively quiet on the development front through most of 2026, though the latest round of decisions marks a shift toward securing existing content. Multiple shows have earned renewed seasons, providing some stability to viewers invested in the platform's originals.

The cancellations represent the platform's ongoing effort to refine its content strategy, while the renewals signal confidence in several series heading into the coming year. As the 2026 television season moves forward, Peacock continues to navigate its programming lineup with additional announcements expected throughout the year.

Fans of the streamer can expect further updates as the platform continues evaluating its original content and making decisions about what stays and what goes.
