Stephen Colbert turned up the charm on The Late Show this week, locking lips with not one but two of his celebrity guests during the Tuesday, May 12 episode.

The 62-year-old late-night host kicked things off with Julia Louis-Dreyfus. During their conversation, Stephen screened a montage of famous faces he's kissed throughout his time on the show—a roster that included Sally Field, Helen Mirren, Allison Janney, Andrew Garfield, and Jeff Daniels. The 65-year-old Veep star responded with a playful quip: "No one's watching, it's just between us."

As the moment unfolded, both traded remarks about their respective spouses. "Brad [Hall] is larger than I am," Stephen noted, while Julia countered, "Evelyn [McGee-Colbert] is stronger than I am." A quick peck on the cheek drew applause from the studio audience, but Julia wasn't quite satisfied. She suggested they film a "reshoot," and this time they went in for a full kiss.

Later that evening, Pedro Pascal made his entrance to promote his upcoming film The Mandalorian & Grogu. The 51-year-old actor wasted no time—he gestured toward his lips and raised his eyebrows, signaling his desire to join in on the kissing action. "I got jealous," Pedro confessed. Stephen's reply was reassuring: "No need, any time. These lips will soon be free."

The remark hinted at what's next for Colbert. After The Late Show concludes with its final episode on May 21, the host is embarking on a completely new venture: writing a Lord of the Rings movie.
