Pedro Pascal Steps Out in NYC with Sister Lux as 'The Mandalorian & Grogu' Approaches Release

The 51-year-old actor was photographed taking a leisurely walk through Manhattan on Tuesday, May 12, accompanied by his 33-year-old sister. Pascal cut a polished figure in a tailored Chanel jacket while the pair made their way through the city.
The outing comes just days after Pascal attended a promotional event for his upcoming Star Wars film. The actor and director Jon Favreau posed alongside Stormtroopers at the UK Surprise and Delight Event for The Mandalorian and Grogu, held at Outernet in London last week. The theatrical release is set for May 22, 2026.
In recent interviews, Lux has opened up about her relationship with her brother and his public image. "I'm incredibly proud," she told The Hollywood Reporter about Pascal's career trajectory. "But the thing is that I've always known that he is a superstar. It's funny because people have been asking me, 'Is he as kind as we think he is?' And I'm like, 'Yes!'"
Pascal has been a vocal advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and previously criticized author J.K. Rowling for celebrating a U.K. Supreme Court ruling regarding transgender women and the Equality Act. Lux, an actress and activist, publicly came out as a transgender woman in February 2021.
Beyond his Star Wars commitments, Pascal is also filming the romantic drama De Noche alongside Danny Ramirez. The gay romance centers on a cop and a boarding school teacher navigating 1930s Los Angeles amid political corruption and global turmoil, eventually leading them to flee to Mexico. The production wrapped scenes in Mexico City in late April 2026.
The film had previously been in development with Joaquin Phoenix attached to star, but the actor departed the project in 2024. Production resumed approximately a year and a half later with Pascal stepping into the lead role.
