Kehlani Stuns in Maroon at 2026 BET Awards, Set to Perform and Compete for Multiple Wins

Kehlani made an elegant entrance at the 2026 BET Awards on Sunday, June 28, at Los Angeles's Peacock Theater, turning heads in a sophisticated maroon look that highlighted her distinctive arm tattoos.

The 31-year-old artist wore a Chats By C.Dam Virginia dress, a form-fitting gown featuring symmetrical draping across the bust and hips with refined metal accents. She completed the ensemble with Sterling Forever rings.

Beyond her standout style, Kehlani has significant stakes in the evening's proceedings. She's scheduled to take the stage as a performer during the ceremony while also competing in three categories: Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Video of the Year, and Viewer's Choice, all for her track "Folded."
