Pete Davidson Reveals New Face Tattoo Honoring Daughter After Major Ink Removal Journey

April 21, 2026

Pete Davidson is showing off fresh ink with deeply personal meaning. The former Saturday Night Live cast member, 32, made his new face tattoo visible while attending CinemaCon 2026 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Wednesday, April 15, where he was promoting his upcoming film How to Rob a Bank.

The tribute sits on the left side of his face between his sideburn and ear, featuring his daughter Scottie's name inscribed vertically in capital letters. Davidson and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt welcomed Scottie in December 2025.

The new addition comes as Davidson continues his extensive tattoo removal process. Observers noted his arms appeared nearly completely clear during his CinemaCon appearance—a stark contrast to their heavily tattooed past. The actor began removing his extensive collection of more than 200 tattoos in 2020, revealing in January 2025 that the process had cost him $200,000.

Davidson has been candid about his motivation for the removal. "I got sober and I saw myself in the mirror and I was like, 'Nah. Who that?' I was like, 'I got to change it up a little bit,'" he explained.

In an interview from November, Davidson discussed which pieces from his former collection he intends to preserve.
