Pete Davidson's Camp Responds to Elsie Hewitt's Claims About Solo Parenting Duties

Elsie Hewitt has opened up about the challenges of single parenting after her recent split from Pete Davidson, just five months after welcoming their daughter Scottie Hewitt-Davidson.
The 30-year-old model shared candid details about her current situation in a TikTok video, addressing paparazzi photos that captured her looking tired during an outing with her baby.
"I'm exhausted, okay?" she said in the clip. "I should have left the house looking nicer yesterday. But that's not what I'm thinking about right now, because I have a baby to take care of, and I also have to work and make money."
She continued, "I'm doing it on my own, which is hard…next time, I will try to look nicer when I got paparazzi on a walk with my daughter. Okay? But I don't know how to get rid of the eye bags because I don't sleep."
When a follower expressed concern in the comments, questioning whether she was managing finances entirely alone and calling that "insane given the circumstances," Hewitt responded simply with "I am :)" before removing the exchange.
The model also turned to Instagram Stories seeking professional assistance. "I'm currently trying to find an assistant/ mother's helper / nanny type / basically [a] right hand person," she posted. "Apply here if qualified & serious. Only looking @ responses with resumes." She noted the role would be compensated.
A representative for Davidson moved quickly to address the narrative. Speaking to People, the source stated: "Pete has made himself extremely available and has provided financial support. Pete is actually covering all Scottie costs and more. He is hoping Elsie has good health and success for the sake of their daughter."
The 32-year-old comedian and the model ended their relationship after weeks of reports and speculation, according to People. While confirming the breakup, sources indicated the pair remain on good terms. "They want one another to succeed and be happy," a source noted at the time, adding that the two are still "working on things."
