Phil Mickelson Faces New Allegation from Pat Perez's Ex-Wife Ashley; Reps Issue Statement

Phil Mickelson is now at the center of a newly surfaced allegation involving Ashley Perez, the former wife of professional golfer Pat Perez.

In a recent conversation with Skratch, Ashley detailed an incident she says occurred in 2015 while she and Pat were guests at Mickelson's New Jersey property during a tournament. According to her account, Mickelson, then 55, showed her an explicit photograph and made a sexual advance toward her while the three were drinking wine on a patio and Pat had stepped away to use the bathroom.

Ashley described Mickelson as displaying a full-body nude image before allegedly proposing that she visit him in his bedroom once Pat had fallen asleep. She explained that she kept quiet about the encounter at the time, fearing it could create complications during Pat's ongoing competition, though she eventually shared the details with him after the tournament concluded.

Pat Perez previously alluded to a serious rift with Mickelson during a podcast appearance, stating that he harbored a distinct animosity toward the golfer rooted in an incident he described as crossing an irreversible line. He indicated he was not prepared to elaborate on the specifics at that time.

A representative for Mickelson pushed back against the claims in a statement, asserting that certain allegations are inaccurate while others address matters he has previously addressed in public or private conversations. The team contended that combining disputed allegations with acknowledged mistakes does not strengthen the credibility of the narrative being presented.

The fresh allegations emerge shortly after Mickelson was removed from membership at an exclusive golf club earlier this month, reportedly due to "nonconsensual and inappropriate" interactions with a female staff member.
