Aubrey Plaza and Christopher Abbott Catch Knicks Playoff Game in NYC

Aubrey Plaza and Christopher Abbott made an appearance at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday evening to take in some playoff basketball.
The couple, who are expecting their first child together, attended Game One of the Eastern Conference Finals matchup between the New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Knicks came away with a 115-104 win.
Plaza, 41, dressed for the occasion in a long black dress layered beneath a brown leather jacket, completing her courtside look with a Knicks cap. Abbott, 40, showed his team spirit by wearing Knicks merchandise.
The two actors have a history of collaborating on screen and stage. They first joined forces in summer 2019 for the independent film Black Bear, which they later premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2020. More recently, they worked together on the off-Broadway production Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, which had its run from October 2023 through January 2024.
The pregnancy news became public in April. Plaza confirmed the exciting development during an appearance on the Smartless podcast, where she shared her enthusiasm about becoming a mother. Abbott also opened up about the pregnancy during an interview on the Today show, marking his first public remarks on the subject.
