Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have another Netflix project in motion. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are producing a feature film adaptation of "No Way Out: The Searing True Story of Men Under Siege," Adam Jowett's memoir about the Afghanistan war, the couple announced through their Archewell Productions company alongside Tracy Ryerson, the company's head of scripted content. Matt Charman, who wrote the screenplay for "Bridges of Spies," is adapting the book for the screen.

The memoir chronicles Major Adam Jowett's command of Easy Company in July 2006, a unit composed of Paras and Royal Irish rangers stationed in Helmand province. Tasked with defending the District Centre of Musa Qala, the company found themselves isolated in a deteriorating compound, vastly outnumbered by Taliban forces. Over the course of twenty-one days and nights, Easy Company endured relentless attacks while running critically low on ammunition. Jowett's account details the intensity of combat and the weight of commanding soldiers through extraordinary circumstances, culminating in an unexpected turning point in the siege.

The project carries personal resonance for Prince Harry, who completed two tours of duty in Afghanistan during his military service with the British Army.

This marks the second major Netflix venture for the Sussexes in recent months. The couple is also developing a polo drama series for the streaming platform. The announcements come after reports earlier this year suggested the couple's Netflix partnership was experiencing friction, though the recent slate of projects signals continued collaboration between the Sussexes and the streaming giant.
