Rachel Zegler turned heads at the 2026 Met Gala on Monday evening, arriving at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City with a striking masked look that commanded attention on fashion's biggest night.

The 25-year-old actress, who has now graced the Met steps on three separate occasions, selected an Atelier Prabal Gurung gown for the occasion. The elegant ensemble featured pearl silk moire fabric paired with a hand-draped laced bodice and a fitted skirt accented with bow detail trim.

The real showstopper, however, was her custom Jennifer Behr silk chiffon mask, which drew inspiration from the portrait of Lady Jane Grey. Crafted through close collaboration between the brand and Zegler's stylist Sarah Slutsky Tooley, the mask featured dramatic tails that cascaded down the back of her dress. Every stitch was handcrafted at Jennifer Behr's Brooklyn atelier.

Marco Bicego jewelry completed the carefully curated ensemble.

The red-carpet appearance came just days after major news broke regarding Zegler's future on stage. The actress is set to return to Broadway in 2027 for a transfer of the celebrated musical Evita, reprising her role as Eva Perón from the West End revival that played in London last year.

That London production proved transformative for Zegler's career. In April, she won the 2026 Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical for the role—and notably, she shared a memorable moment with the original Eva Perón actress, who claimed the same award nearly 50 years earlier in 1980.
