Rachel Zegler Cheers on Former Partner Josh Andres Rivera in Broadway's 'The Rocky Horror Show'

Rachel Zegler made a trip backstage to celebrate her former partner Josh Andres Rivera's work in The Rocky Horror Show on Broadway.

The 25-year-old actress posted several snapshots to Instagram Stories on Sunday, June 28, documenting her visit to the production where Josh currently performs as Rocky. In one image taken in his dressing room, she captioned the photo "Congrats grad!" while another shot from the stage's curtain call featured the message "so intensely proud of my friend josh!"

Zegler also shared a backstage photo with Luke Evans, who takes on the role of Frank-N-Furter in the musical production.

The pair's history spans several years of professional collaboration and romance. They first crossed paths while filming Steven Spielberg's West Side Story remake in 2019. Their relationship began in 2021 and continued through 2024, during which time they also appeared together in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.

When Josh's casting in The Rocky Horror Show was announced earlier this year, Zegler expressed her enthusiasm in the comments section of the announcement post. The support continued this month with her in-person attendance at the performance.

The pair has maintained a supportive friendship since their breakup. In April, Rivera returned the favor by attending Zegler's concert performance of The Last Five Years at Radio City Music Hall, where she performed alongside Ben Platt.

Looking ahead to 2025, Zegler will return to the Broadway stage to reprise her role as Eva Perón in the transfer of Evita, bringing her celebrated portrayal from London's West End to New York. She garnered an Olivier Award for her performance in the London production.
