Real Housewives of Orange County Marks Major Milestone With Season 20 Premiere Celebration

The Real Housewives of Orange County assembled at Universal Studios in Universal City, California on Tuesday, June 30, to kick off their momentous 20th season with an all-hands premiere celebration.

The evening brought together a mix of current and former cast members, including longtime stars Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, Shannon Storms Beador, and Jennifer Pedranti. The gathering also featured a pair of significant returns: original cast member Vicki Gunvalson is back as a main housewife for the first time since season 13, and Jo De La Rosa has been promoted from guest appearances to the principal cast after her initial run ended following season four.

Joining the lineup is newcomer Carmella Garcia, a former Playboy Playmate of the Year and professional wrestler. The gathering also drew former Real Housewives of New York star Luann de Lesseps, along with various partners and spouses of the cast members.

The network has positioned season 20 as a turning point for the group, with promotional materials describing it as a chapter where "the ladies return for a dramatic season as they band together to face their challenges head on, testing long-standing friendships while navigating the demands of family life."

The season will premiere with an extended two-hour episode on Thursday, July 9 at 8pm ET/PT on Bravo, with the episode becoming available on Peacock the following day.

Beyond the main series, the franchise is expanding its reach with The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, which will incorporate appearances from 82 housewives spanning the entire franchise's history, including both Gunvalson and de Lesseps.
